Supreme Court Takes Sorrell First Amendment Case

As we predicted it might, two months ago when we discussed IMS Health, Inc. v. Sorrell, the Supreme Court today granted certiorari in this very interesting First Amendment case.  We will soon (in the legal biz that means a year) get a ruling on the degree of First Amendment protection to which truthful speech in the pharmaceutical detailing context is entitled.
